TAYLORS, S.C. – FATZ®, the contemporary, casual restaurant chain located in the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia, announces the grand opening of FATZ® Johnson City, joining Bristol and Kingsport as the third location in the Tri-cities area. Marking the 48th FATZ® location, the new restaurant will open its doors June 20, 2011, at 11 a.m., and is located in the Shoppes on West Market at 3101 West Market Street, Suite 101. FATZ® Johnson City will accommodate 160 people in the 4,800 square-foot building and will, of course, serve the same quality service and craveable food that FATZ® is famous for throughout the Southeast, from the World Famous Calabash Chicken® and Poppy Seed Rolls to the new Lite Side Menu and tender Babyback Ribs ToGo.
Leading the new FATZ® Johnson City is Rob Taylor. Rob has been
part of the FATZ® team for more than three years, starting his
training at the Greeneville, TN, location and has supported several
restaurants and led two other FATZ® restaurants to success. As a
Johnson City native, however, it was time to bring FATZ® closer to
his own family and friends.
