TAYLORS, SC – As part of its ongoing re-branding efforts, FATZ® is introducing a kids meal program featuring VeggieTales®, the American series of children's series of talking vegetables whose stories convey moral lessons. The partnership coincides with the restaurantʼs dedication to staying on trend and responding to market needs.
The robust activity books in the new Kids Program features multiple games for children under 12 and a coloring contest to win the complete VeggieTales® DVD Library or an opportunity to win the soon to be released VeggieTales ® RobinGood and His Not-So-Merry Men DVD. The menu provides a variety of healthy options, with one of 10 entrée options, five side items and an array of desserts. Favorites include the Popcorn Shrimp, Steamed Seasonal Veggies and a Kidz Sundae.
The Kids Program will continue to evolve, with updates and new partnerships throughout the year. FATZ® is excited about the program and the ability to provide guests a tremendous everyday value on a variety of healthy options for their families. This is a concerted effort not only for the restaurants, but also through Facebook, Twitter and FATZ®ʼs kids page at FATZ.com/kids, as well as in the communities to further support FATZ®ʼs long-standing Gold Star Program, which provides deserving children rewards for scholastic achievement.
FATZ® started with humble beginnings in 1988 in Spartanburg, S.C., and spread from one peach shed to a sensation across the Southeast with its varied, reasonably priced menu, ample portions of quality food and upbeat service in a comfortable atmosphere. Today, FATZ® still believes in the same ideals that originated in that fruit stand 23 years ago and strives to deliver warm, friendly service with housemade, quality ingredients to create a “home away from home” for every guest that walks through the door. Known as community leaders within each of its 49 locations, FATZ® makes it a priority to engage with local communities through pancake breakfast fundraisers, charitable involvement and the Gold Star Program.
