FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the 5 Spartan Avenue restaurant in Asheville, NC, on Sept. 10, 2011, to benefit Carpenterʼs Heart. From 8 – 10 a.m., FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money to support the Carpenterʼs Heart. Founded in April 2009, Carpenterʼs Heart is a growing group of Christians who want to make a difference in their local communities and in countries across the world. From building churches in Honduras and villages in Yojah to cutting firewood and caring for the elderly in nursing homes in local communities, Carpenterʼs Heart provides a spiritual connection as well as giving people a place to call home. Proceeds from the breakfast will go to the current project of building an orphanage in Honduras.

encouraged to bring a donation to fuel FATZ® fundraising efforts
for Carpenterʼs Heart.

Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser in 2009 with the specific purpose of
making a difference and helping the local community grow where
every restaurant is located. Since its inception, FATZ® has raised
more than $800,000 for charities and community organizations. FATZ®
opens daily at 11 a.m. serving lunch and dinner to regulars, but on
Saturdays, FATZ® staff volunteer alongside members of the community
to raise money for organizations ranging from local schools to The
United Way.
