TAYLORS, SC - FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the North Belair Road restaurant in Evans on July 23. This breakfast is to benefit local high school students participating in BIZ U. BIZ U is a business immersion summer camp hosted by Junior Achievement and the Hull College of Business at Augusta State University.
From 7:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., FATZ®
will open its doors to members of the community and transform into
a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money to support this great program
and the students involved. The breakfast will be a celebration of
business achievement, competition and learning with a special
awards ceremony for our young champions of free enterprise.
Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to help bridge the gap
between the business and education communities through the BIZ U
program.
Tickets for the pancake breakfast
are just $7 and can be purchased by contacting DeAnna Brunk at
(706) 736-3070 or Crystal Vincent at (706) 737-1418. All attendees
are encouraged to bring a donation to fuel FATZ® fundraising
efforts for Biz U and Junior Achievement of Georgia, Inc.
FATZ® introduced the idea of a
Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser in 2009 with the specific purpose of
making a difference and helping the local community grow where
every restaurant is located. Since its inception, FATZ® has raised
more than $600,000 for charities and community organizations. FATZ®
opens daily at 11 a.m. serving lunch and dinner to regulars, but on
Saturdays, FATZ® staff volunteer alongside members of the community
to raise money for organizations ranging from local schools to The
United Way.
