TAYLORS, SC - FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the West Wade Hampton Boulevard restaurant in Greer on August 13, 2011, to benefit Greer Community Ministries. From 7:30 – 10:30 a.m., FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money to support Greer Community Ministry. Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to benefit the four programs of Greer Community Ministries: Meals on Wheels, Senior Dining, Food Pantry and Clothing Closet. Greer Community Ministries is a faith-based organization that builds strong bonds of service and fellowship within the community. Their efforts to end hunger for the elderly, homebound and disadvantaged are essential in helping those in need get the life sustaining treatments they need.
Tickets for the pancake breakfast
are $7 and can be purchased by contacting Cam Morris at (864)-
877-1937. All attendees are encouraged to bring a donation to fuel
FATZ® fundraising efforts for Greer Community Ministries.
FATZ® introduced the idea of a
Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser in 2009 with the specific purpose of
making a difference and helping the local community grow where
every restaurant is located. Since its inception, FATZ® has raised
more than $800,000 for charities and community organizations. FATZ®
opens daily at 11 a.m. serving lunch and dinner to regulars, but on
Saturdays, FATZ® staff volunteer alongside members of the community
to raise money for organizations ranging from local schools to The
United Way.
