TAYLOR, SC - FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the South Regional Road restaurant in Greensboro, NC, on June 11, to benefit the Preparing Our Youth Foundation. From 8:30 – 10:30 am, FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money to support the preparing Our Youth Foundation. Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to help fund the progression of young, underserved students through character building, entrepreneurial and leadership experiences.
Tickets for the pancake breakfast are $10 for adults ($6 for
children under 8 years old) and can be purchased by contacting
Keith G. Pemberton at k.g.pemberton@poyfs.org. All attendees are
encouraged to bring a donation to fuel FATZ® fundraising efforts
for the Preparing Our Youth Foundation.
FATZ® introduced the idea of a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser in
2009 with the specific purpose of making a difference and helping
the local community grow where every restaurant is located. Since
its inception, FATZ® has raised more than $600,000 for charities
and community organizations. FATZ® opens daily at 11 a.m. serving
lunch and dinner to regulars, but on Saturdays, FATZ® staff
volunteer alongside members of the community to raise money for
organizations ranging from local schools to The United Way.
