TAYLORS, SC - FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the Pooler restaurant on April 9, 2011, to benefit South Effingham Middle School Boys and Girls Soccer Teams. From 7:45 – 10:30 a.m., FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money for the middle school soccer teams, which will use the proceeds for new uniforms, equipment and the end-of-season awards ceremony.
Tickets for the pancake breakfast are $7 and can be purchased by
contacting Janet Clark at (912) 728-3890 or
jclark@effingham.k12.ga.us. All attendees are encouraged to bring a
donation to fuel FATZ fundraising efforts and raise additional
funds in tips for the youth soccer teams.
FATZ introduced the idea of a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser in
2009 with the specific purpose of making a difference and helping
the local community grow where every restaurant is located. Since
its inception, FATZ has raised more than $600,000 for charities and
community organizations. FATZ opens daily at 11 a.m. serving lunch
and dinner to regulars, but on Saturdays, FATZ staff volunteer
alongside members of the community to raise money for organizations
ranging from local schools to The United Way.
