TAYLORS, SC - FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the Wall Street restaurant in Camden on June 25, to benefit Camden Kershaw Youth Council NAACP. From 7:30 - 10:30 a.m., FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money to support the Camden Kershaw Youth Council NAACP. The organizationʼs mission is to inform youths of the endless opportunities for African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities. Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to help fund young peopleʼs participation in local democracy by giving them a voice in the community.
Tickets for the pancake breakfast are $7 and can be purchased by
contacting Rosalind Watson at (803)-427-2894 or
jerryrozwatson@yahoo.com. All attendees are encouraged to bring a
donation to fuel FATZ® fundraising efforts for Camden Kershaw Youth
Council NAACP.
FATZ® introduced the idea of a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser in
2009 with the specific purpose of making a difference and helping
the local community grow where every restaurant is located. Since
its inception, FATZ® has raised more than $600,000 for charities
and community organizations. FATZ® opens daily at 11 a.m. serving
lunch and dinner to regulars, but on Saturdays, FATZ® staff
volunteer alongside members of the community to raise money for
organizations ranging from local schools to The United Way.
