TAYLORS, SC – FATZ® is honored to host a pancake breakfast at the Rock Hill restaurant on July 30, 2011, from 7:30 – 10:00 a.m., to benefit the Rock Hill Lionʼs Club. FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money to support the efforts of the Rock Hill Lionʼs Club. The Rock Hill Lionʼs Club is the youngest and largest social service organization in the world dedicated to helping others with blindness, deafness, drug abuse and to raise awareness on diabetes. Money raised from the breakfast will specifically help aid Rock Hillʼs goal to support the Sight First program, known for recycling eye glasses for over 70 years.
Tickets for the pancake breakfast
are $7, which includes pancakes, sausage links, fruit cup and a
beverage. Advance tickets are available for purchase by calling
Cynthia Bottomley at (803) 325-2133 and will also be for sale at
the door the day of the event.
FATZ® introduced the idea of a
Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser in 2009 with the specific purpose of
making a difference and helping the local community grow where
every restaurant is located. Since its inception, FATZ® has raised
more than $600,000 for charities and community organizations. FATZ®
opens daily at 11 a.m. serving lunch and dinner to regulars, but on
Saturdays, FATZ® staff volunteer alongside members of the community
to raise money for organizations ranging from local schools to The
United Way.
