FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the 1361 W. Wade
Hampton Blvd. restaurant in Greer, S.C., on Sept. 17, 2011, to benefit the Blue Ridge High School Volleyball Team. From 7 – 10 a.m., FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money to support the Blue Ridge High Volleyball Team. Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to help the team buy more equipment, uniforms and travel expenses for tournaments. Since their last championship in 1992, the lady tigers are on the prowl for another title.
Tickets for Short Stacks for Big
Change, a pancake breakfast fundraiser, are $7 and can be purchased
by contacting Laura B. Lee at (864) 918-4847. All attendees are
encouraged to bring a donation to fuel FATZ® fundraising efforts
for Blue Ridge High Volleyball Team.
FATZ® introduced the idea of Short
Stacks for Big Change in 2009 with the specific purpose of making a
difference and helping the local community grow where every
restaurant is located. Since its inception, FATZ® has raised more
than $800,000 for charities and community organizations. FATZ®
opens daily at 11 a.m. serving lunch and dinner to regulars, but on
Saturdays, FATZ® staff volunteer alongside members of the community
to raise money for organizations ranging from local schools to The
United Way.
