FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the 464 N. Belair Rd. restaurant in Evans, Ga., on Sept. 17, 2011, to benefit Wrap-A-Vet. From 7 – 10 a.m., FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money to support the Wrap-A-Vet. Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to help the VA Nursing Home of Georgia buy blankets for Veterans.
Tickets for Short Stacks for Big
Change, a pancake breakfast fundraiser, are $7 and can be purchased
by contacting David Vaughn at (919) 306-1676. All attendees are
encouraged to bring a donation to fuel FATZ® fundraising efforts
for Wrap-A-Vet.
FATZ® introduced the idea of Short
Stacks for Big Change in 2009 with the specific purpose of making a
difference and helping the local community grow where every
restaurant is located. Since its inception, FATZ® has raised
more than $800,000 for charities and community organizations. FATZ®
opens daily at 11 a.m. serving lunch and dinner to regulars, but on
Saturdays, FATZ® staff volunteer alongside members of the community
to raise money for organizations ranging from local schools to The
United Way.
