TAYLORS, SC - FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the 464 North Belair Road restaurant in Evans, Ga., on March 17, 2012, to benefit the American Cancer Society. From 7:30 – 10:30 a.m., FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money to support the American Cancer Society. Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to help fund Relay for Life in Columbia County. Additionally, funding will be allocated towards the Hope Lodge, a service that provides cancer patients and their caregiver with free housing while undergoing cancer treatment.
Tickets for Short Stacks for Big Change, a pancake breakfast fundraiser, are $7 and can be purchased by contacting Angel Carter at (706) 731-9900 or Angel.Carter@cancer.org. All attendees are encouraged to bring a donation to fuel FATZ® fundraising efforts for the American Cancer Society.
FATZ® introduced the idea of Short Stacks for Big Change in 2009 with the specific purpose of making a difference and helping the local community grow where every restaurant is located. Since its inception, FATZ® has raised more than $1,000,000 for charities and community organizations.
