Proceeds from the breakfast will be used for the Dr. Jeanne L. Noble, Delta GEMS youth program. GEMS (Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully) are High school female students that participate in activities such as, Etiquette Training, College Tours, Leadership preparation, Dressing for Success and College and Career Planning.

FATZ® introduced the idea of Short Stacks for Big Change in 2009 with the specific purpose of making a difference and helping the local community grow where every restaurant is located. Since its inception, FATZ® has raised more than $1,000,000 for charities and community organizations. FATZ® opens daily at 11 a.m. serving lunch and dinner to regulars, but on Saturdays, FATZ® staff volunteer alongside members of the community to raise money for organizations ranging from local schools to The United Way.
