TAYLORS, SC - FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the 464 North Belair Road restaurant in Evans, Ga., on March 10, 2012, to benefit International World Changers. From 8-10 a.m., FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money to support the International World Changers. International World Changers is an organization created by the Southern Baptist Convention that coordinates mission trips around the world for college and high school students. Proceeds from the breakfast will be used toward a summer mission trip to Malaysia.
Tickets for Short Stacks for Big Change, a pancake breakfast fundraiser, are $7 and can be purchased by contacting Lindsey Hudson at (706) 830-5260 or Lhudson8@aug.edu. All attendees are encouraged to bring a donation to fuel FATZ® fundraising efforts for International World Changers.
FATZ® introduced the idea of Short Stacks for Big Change in 2009 with the specific purpose of making a difference and helping the local community grow where every restaurant is located. Since its inception, FATZ® has raised more than $1,000,000 for charities and community organizations. FATZ® opens daily at 11 a.m. serving lunch and dinner to regulars, but on Saturdays, FATZ® staff volunteer alongside members of the community to raise money for organizations ranging from local schools to The United Way.
