TAYLORS, SC - FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the 3101 W. Market St. restaurant in Johnson City, Tn., on Oct. 1, 2011, to benefit Jonesborough Middle School. From 7 - 10 a.m., FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money to support the Jonesborough Middle School. Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to purchase new school supplies for students to use in their classrooms. This is the schoolʼs first time pairing with FATZ® as their new partner in education.
Tickets for Short Stacks for Big
Change, a pancake breakfast fundraiser are $7 and can be purchased
by contacting Pammie Page at (423) 753-1190. All attendees are
encouraged to bring a donation to fuel FATZ® fundraising efforts
for Jonesborough Middle School.
FATZ® introduced the idea of Short Stacks for Big Change in 2009
with the specific purpose of making a difference and helping the
local community grow where every restaurant is located. Since its
inception, FATZ® has raised more than $800,000 for charities and
community organizations. FATZ® opens daily at 11 a.m. serving lunch
and dinner to regulars, but on Saturdays, FATZ® staff volunteer
alongside members of the community to raise money for organizations
ranging from local schools to The United Way.
