TAYLORS, SC - FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the 3575 St. Matthews Road restaurant in Orangeburg, S.C., on Feb. 18, 2012, to benefit Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Joann Gary Loveless Scholarship Fund. From 8 – 10 a.m., FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money to support the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Joan Gary Loveless Scholarship. The Joann Gary Loveless Scholarship Fund recognizes the many students who have had to overcome significant challenges to succeed in school and may be the first in the studentʼs family to complete high school or go on to college. Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to help fund the scholarship.

All attendees are encouraged to bring a donation to fuel FATZ® fundraising efforts for Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Joan Gary Loveless Scholarship.
FATZ® introduced the idea of Short Stacks for Big Change in 2009 with the specific purpose of making a difference and helping the local community grow where every restaurant is located. Since its inception, FATZ® has raised more than $1,000,000 for charities and community organizations. FATZ® opens daily at 11 a.m. serving lunch and dinner to regulars, but on Saturdays, FATZ® staff volunteer alongside members of the community to raise money for organizations ranging from local schools to The United Way.
