TAYLORS, SC - FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the 212 Wall Street restaurant in Camden, S.C., on Oct. 22, 2011, to benefit both the New Vision Church Building Fund and the Women on the Move Scholarship Fund. From 7:30 – 10:30 a.m., FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money for both foundations.
Founded in 2009, Women on the Move
is an educational forum for womenʼs personal growth and
professional development. The groupʼs mission is to bring
resources, talent, skills, knowledge and fun together in a unique
socially engaging and sharing environment. Proceeds from the
breakfast will be used to help build the local chapter and enrich
the lives of people throughout the community.
Tickets for Short Stacks for Big
Change, a pancake breakfast fundraiser, are $7 and can be purchased
by contacting Rochelle Council at RochelleCouncil@aol.com. All
attendees are encouraged to bring a donation to fuel FATZ®
fundraising efforts for the New Vision Church Building Fund and the
Women on the Move Scholarship Fund.
FATZ® introduced the idea of Short
Stacks for Big Change in 2009 with the specific purpose of making a
difference and helping the local community grow where every
restaurant is located. Since its inception, FATZ® has raised more
than $1,000,000 for charities and community organizations. FATZ®
opens daily at 11 a.m. serving lunch and dinner to regulars, but on
Saturdays, FATZ® staff volunteer alongside members of the community
to raise money for organizations ranging from local schools to The
United Way.
