TAYLORS, S.C. – Salute to ten-year-old Ashley Noll of Orlando, Fla., the winner of the FATZ "Red, White and Blue" coloring contest! FATZ recently encouraged children 12 and under to channel their own creativity by coloring and drawing what they would do if they were elected as President. In her winning drawing, Ashley drew an image of all Americans being provided with food and water. The top 50 finalists will receive American flags.
Ashley and her family will enjoy a historic vacation to Colonial Williamsburg, including multi-day tickets to visit all of the Colonial Williamsburg Historic Area sites.
The “Red, White and Blue” coloring contest was open from August 13, 2012- January 13, 2013. Numerous entries were received and judged by a panel of judges on originality and creativity.
"I was very excited to see the insight from our youngest guests in the entries in the “Red, White and Blue” coloring contest. Each entry that FATZ received was unique.” said Stephen Loftis, Vice President of Marketing of FATZ. “It was a tough choice to select just one winner, but we were especially moved by Ashley’s drawing.”
The first FATZ opened in November 1988 with humble roots, operating out of a converted peach shed in Spartanburg, S.C. FATZ was founded with principles to secure a convenient location, develop a varied, reasonably-priced menu, and offer ample portions of quality food, while providing upbeat service in a comfortable atmosphere. The ideals that emerged from that shed all those years ago still stand strong today at every FATZ location.
Today Cafe Enterprises operates 48 FATZ restaurants across Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Cafe Enterprises is headquartered in Taylors, S.C. The company actively supports charities in the communities where it does business, having donated over $2 million over the years.
