TAYLORS, SC- Fatz Cafe partnered with many organizations through its Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser program, raising $477, 748 in 2010 to benefit local communities in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia. Groups big and small, ranging from local schools, churches and non-profits, have participated in the Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser program. The program goal is to lend a helping hand and great food to bring neighbors together and enrich communities across the Southeast.
Early on Saturday mornings, Operating Partners and Fatz Cafe
employees open their restaurant hours before their scheduled shift
to flip pancakes with volunteers from various local organizations,
transforming Fatz Cafe into a hot spot for hotcakes.
The Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser program has raised awareness
and funds for many causes including youth sporting events, church
mission trips, counseling services for our military heroes, and
even helped raise money for a regular guest to undergo a kidney
transplant. Fatz Cafe values the opportunity to strengthen its
surrounding areas, and will continue to raise even more money to
touch the lives of its community members in 2011.
