FATZ EARNS 2013 TRIPADVISOR CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE June 25, 2013

TAYLORS, S.C. – Seventeen FATZ locations have been recognized internationally with a Certificate of Excellence award from the world’s largest travel site, TripAdvisor®. This accolade, which honors hospitality excellence, is given to a limited number of establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor. Only the top-performing 10 percent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.

“FATZ is honored to receive this TripAdvisor award,” said Jim Balis, Chief Executive Officer of FATZ.  “Our FATZ team takes a great deal of pride in our friendly southern hospitality and great food, so receiving an international award that is based on feedback from our customer’s means a lot to us.”

To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor.  Businesses must have been listed on TripAdvisor for a minimum of 12 months. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last year.

FATZ 2013 Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence Award recipient locations include Georgia: Aiken, Blairsville, Dublin, Jasper, Pooler and Warner Robins; North Carolina: Asheville, Franklin, Greensboro Airport, Hendersonville and Morganton; and  South Carolina: Anderson, Florence, North Charleston and Waccamaw.

“We know local customers and people traveling around the southeast count on TripAdvisor for unbiased reviews from fellow diners in making restaurant choices,” Balis said. “Our goal is to make each visit to FATZ memorable for our guests.
