TAYLORS, S.C. - FATZ® is honored to host a pancake breakfast at the Gaffney restaurant on April 9, 2011, to help Corinth Baptist Church raise funds for the Cleveland Park Accident Fund. From 8 – 10 a.m., FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community to help raise money to aid victims and their families affected by the train accident at Cleveland Park that took the life of a 6-year-old boy and injured 15 others. All attendees are encouraged to bring a donation to help members of the community impacted by this tragic accident.
FATZ introduced the idea of a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser in
2009 with the specific purpose of making a difference and helping
the local community grow where every restaurant is located. Since
its inception, FATZ has raised more than $600,000 for charities and
community organizations. FATZ opens daily at 11 a.m. serving lunch
and dinner to regulars, but on Saturdays, FATZ staff volunteer
alongside members of the community to raise money for organizations
ranging from local schools to The United Way.
