Meet Fatz Cafe's Bass Angler S. Daryl Fontana, Jr. Saturday, July 11 July 08, 2009

Taylors, S.C. - This Saturday, July 11, 2009 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Fatz Cafe's Bass Angler Daryl Fontana and the Fatz Cafe boat will be at Fatz Cafe of Athens located at 4115 Lexington Road. To celebrate Daryl's visit, the restaurant and the Zoom Bait Company will be giving away free gifts. Bond Marine will have boats on display and Chevrolet will showcase the brand new Camaro. Mr. Clown from Up 'n Away Balloons will be there at Noon with free balloons for the kids, and Operating Partner Gary Tate will be offering Fatz's World Famous Calabash Chicken for folks to sample.

Daryl is fishing the FLW Outdoor Bass Fishing League (BFL) Series under Fatz Cafe Sponsorship while working his way towards the Stren Series. He and the boat will be available for pictures during his visit. "We're excited to share our involvement in the sport of bass fishing with the Athens community, and look forward to Daryl's visit and a fun event. Daryl was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He resides in the Upstate of SC with his wife, Jenny and their two children, Abree and Dante, and works as a Senior Citrix Administrator for Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. In the past few years, he has placed in the top ten in locally held tournaments here in the Upstate. He will be fishing the FLW Outdoor Bass Fishing League (BFL) Series while working his way towards the Stren Series.
